The last time I saw debbers2001
...her kitchen was on fire!
It is true…. we did meet over a stale peice of gum. But after getting past the chewy-ness we have been friends ever since! How many people can say they have been friends with someone for over 20 years? (mind you, we are only 23). From kindergarden w/Mrs. Fitzimons to life post college we have been best friends. Sure there were times when Eyah ditched me for trick-or-treating with Robin and Meghan….but then again I also spent a lot of nights at “the Falls”. I wouldn’t trade Dalia for anything…. I can’t wait to visit her and spend some time in the Sunshine (& meet “Honey Bear” of course)
I met LollyC 20 years ago, when we were 3 years old. (We’re 23 now!) She sat on my steps and offered me a piece of stale gum. I accepted, and we’ve been friends ever since (although there was a time when she wouldn’t come play at my house because she was scared of my older brother).
Debbers2001’s brother is on “Beauty and the Geek” this season. We’ve been getting together every Thursday to cheer him on; last week we even made an impromptu dinner. We pooled our money, ran out to the grocery store, and selected some random ingredients. We ended up with an amazing “real” dinner—pasta, wine, and dessert. Does anyone have a suggestion for what girls on a tight budget can make for dinner? You can tell from Debbers2001’s pizza story that we’re not exactly picky when it comes to food…
one night we were really hungry at about 10:05 and went all over the city looking for a restaurant or convenience store to get something to eat. every place we went said they had just closed, including the pizza place we thought was open late. but there was a sketchy-looking guy standing nearby and asked us if we were hungry. we hesitantly said yes, and he offered us pizza. he had half a dozen boxes of various pizzas sitting atop the newspaper boxes. so we ate pizza and talked to him and learned that he does this every night, giving leftover pizza to whoever is hungry. a typical wheattina adventure…
Will she really eat enough Puffin cereal to adopt her own puffin?
